CHISWICK WOMENS AID ERIN PIZZEY LONDON 1970's

Richmond, London, 1975 <br />
There was an open door policy at Chiswick Women’s Aid; women who suffered abuse could just turn up. They came with their often disturbed children and were sometimes mentally damaged themselves. The community offered an environment, where women in similar circumstances could provide emotional and moral support as well as friendship.
