The Bravade annual festival 16th 17th and 18th of May Saint St Tropez South of France. 2005 A statuette and red and white flowers the colour of the festival on a village window sill. Every year the people of St Tropez celebrate the Bravades a ritual that expresses the deep attachment to their military history. This celebration now takes place over three days A huge effigy of Saint Tropez is carried from the chapel around the town and at particular places the parade stops and shots are fired into the air or at the ground continually hour after hour over the three day period as a salute to Saint Tropez
