BALI COCKFIGHTING

Lovina, Island of Bali, Indonesia 26th January 2006. Cockfighting a group of Balinese men in rural farming community gambling on cockerel fighting match. Cockerel having a long sharp knife blade called a Tajit tied to its left ankle with which it will attack its opposite number. Men hold up their fighting cocks at the start of the fight. Banned since 1981 its still very popular, this event took place in a rural farming community 20 minutes by motor bike up a mountain near Lovina.
