BATTLE OF BOSWORTH FIELDS LEICESTERSHIRE

Dadlington, Leicestershire, England 5th July 2010. Battle of Bosworth Fields, the old Roman road now called  Fenn Lanes near Dadlington. The road lead and looking towards Fenn Lane Farm which is now recognised as the correct location for this defining battle. It was the last significant battle of the Wars of the Roses, the civil war between the Houses of Lancaster and York that extended across England in the latter half of the 15th century.
