London, England 9th December 2015. The Worshipful Company of Butchers, Boars Head ceremony leave the Pewterers Hall, for the annual short walk to the Mansion House. These days due to Healthy and Safety rules and regulations a papier maché model of a boar's head is carried in procession, which on arrival is presented to the Lord Mayor. The Butchers are one of the oldest of the City's Livery Companies, the origins of this tradition can be traced back to 1343.
