BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR LONDON

Moss Side, Manchester, England circa 1993. The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, church members have gone on an outing and crusade from London to Manchester to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the church in Britain. These children have been up all of Saturday night in a prayer sessions, its Sunday afternoon and they file towards the altar to receive a blessing. A coin is pressed between praying hands and will be dropped reverently into a glass vase. This semi Christian Nigerian church was founded by Olumba Olumba Obu, known to his followers as OOO. His members worship him and Christ. He believes that he is the eighth and final reincarnation of the Godhead.
