Charlton-on-Otmoor Oxfordshire May Day Celebrations. Children from the Church of England St Mary the Virgin Primary School process to the village church to have their May garlands blessed. The garlands are then hung on the church Rood Screen. After the May Garland Service children take part in traditional May dances in the car park of the Crown Inn.
