Bucks Green Sussex Christmas Day Keeping Open Right of Way
Bucks Green, Sussex, England 25th December 2022. On Christmas Day each year a horse is ridden through the Fox Inn from the front garden to the back along a bricked path to keep open an ancient right of way. The pub was originally a mix of buildings separated by a bridleway which is now inside the pub. The horse stops at the bar to greet the bar staff and then out of the back door and into a marque where many locals enjoys a pre Christmas lunch drink.
