A pastor at the Celestial Church of Christ exorcises evil spirits from a disabled child.  Her concerned mother holds her hand, as the pastor stands on her foot to hold her down and at the same time pulls her upwards, to stretch her spine and free her from supernatural demons. This west African church was founded by S B J Oshoffa Mainly attended by Yoruba people from western Nigeria the church  flourishes with offshoots in London Paris and New York This  photograph is taken from the book The Storm is Passing Over"
