Wally’s wife Cissy Rosaire drew in the audience banging a large drum, while Wally juggled with his throwing knives as a young woman held up a sign, ‘Nude Lady as Target’. The Shufflebottom family had been showmen since the 1850’s. Wally was one of the last showmen to present a live Wild West Show at British fairgrounds; he died in 1998 age 89.
