DERRY 1970S AND 1980S NORTHERN IRELAND

The Catholic Creggan Estate, a no-go area during The Troubles policed by both wings of the IRA. Family going shopping, petrol bombed family house in Rinmore Drive 1983. Derry, Londonderry, Northern Ireland.   In this case I dont know, but deliberately destroyed houses especially in 'flash point' locations, were created to be used by snipers. They were called "derelicts."
