EGTON BRIDGE GOOSEBERRY SHOW YORKSHIRE

Egton Bridge, Yorkshire, England circa August 1995.  The Egton Bridge Gooseberry Show, after judging has taken place the public are allowed into the village hall to see the prize gooseberries and the silver cups, that are presented to the winners. Locals scrutinise the winning berries. They are either red or green and can weighed in at over 30 drams.
