Haxey Hood Game. Haxey, Humberside. 1972. At four o'clock the leather hood is thrown up, and a scrum known as the 'sway' forms 	round it. The teams of men push against each other trying to get the 	hood to their favourite pub. Mr Stan Jarvis the publican of The Kings Arms holds up the Hood where is will remain for the year.
