Hepworth Feast Day procession commemorates the end of the Great Plague Yorkshire
Hepworth Feast Yorkshire 2018. The Feast Day procession commemorates the end of the Great Plague, that started around 1665 and claimed many lives in the village. The procession goes through the village to the Scholes and then back, taking about 2 hours. Hymns and songs of praise are sung at various location. A Feast and tea is available in the school and children get a packed picnic.
