Saint Winefrides Shrine Holywell, Wales.  An Irish Gypsy woman traveller touches the statue of St Winefride and says a prayer. Saint Winefride was a 7th-century Welsh Christian around whom many historical legends have formed. The healing waters of the spring at the traditional site of her death is now a shrine and pilgrimage site called St Winefrides Well, known as the Lourdes of Wales.
