Hull, Humberside, England circa 1980. <br /> The Cob Shop in the Hessle Road area, down by the docks is closed. A cob is a small round loaf, a working mans daily bread. Usually made from whole wheat flour, rather than refined white flour, which used to be reserved for a rich mans loaf of bread.
