The McCarthy family depicted here are still, "travellers although these days we do not have the freedom that we would hope to have due to government policies preventing us from practicing our nomadic way of life, they have set constitutional laws since 1963 to restrict our movements and forced us to assimilate into a sedentary way of living. We we're based in Limerick initially but moved to Kerry sometime in the 80s as my late father was from there." Frank McCarthy.
