ISLE OF MAN 1970s

St Johns, Isle of Man, 5th July 1978. Tynwald is the Manx Parliament. The Lieutenant Governor, Sir John Warburton Paul in long wig, stands to attention on Tynwald Hill after the during the open air Ceremony of Reading the Laws.  Officials then make their way to The Parish Church of St John the Baptist, The Royal Chapel of Tynwald Hill where parliament will sit and he will sign in recently passed laws.
