KENT COAL MINERS 1970S AND 2010S

Snowdown, Kent, England circa December 1976. Coal miners coming off a work days shift. L-R Jack Inchley, Unknown, Mick Dobson, Unknown, Unknown. Snowdown was the deepest and hottest colliery in the entire Kent coalfield and was known as Dante’s Inferno, it finally closed down in 1987.<br />
