MARY MALLATRATT HOT CROSS BUN LEGACY

Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England 2nd April 2015. Mary Mallatratt after the death of her son who died of brain damage aged 7 months in 1876, Mary became increasingly involved with the affairs of the Unitarian Church meeting house. In her Will of 1894 she bequeathed monies for school books for the Meeting House, for a stained glass window depicting the Parable of the Talents  and she bequest of £100 to the trustees to provide buns annually on Good Friday.
