OUTSIDER ART CEMENT MENAGERIE BRANXTON UK

Branxton, Northumberland, England circa 1985. Baa Baa Black Sheep, have you any wool…   And one for the little boy, who lives down the lane. The Cement Menagerie was created by Outsider artist John Fairnington (1883-1981) and not started until he was in 80 years of age. The 300 concrete sculptures were created for the amusement his disabled son Edwin Fairnington.
