Saint David Lewis annual pilgrimage. David Lewis, (1616 – 27 August 1679) was a Jesuit Catholic priest and martyr, he was the last Welsh Catholic priest executed for his faith during the Reformation. Fr Bernard Sixtus, carrying the umbraculum, Abbott Paul Stonham carrying the relic and pilgrimages walk through the town to the Priory Church of St Mary where St David Lewis is buried. Usk, Monmouthshire, Wales 28th August 2022.
