Saint David Lewis annual pilgrimage. David Lewis, (1616 – 27 August 1679) was a Jesuit Catholic priest and martyr, he was the last Welsh Catholic priest executed for his faith during the Reformation. The annual procession from Ss David Lewis and Francis Xavier Catholic Church to the place of execution and then to his grave at Saint Mary’s Priory Church, where his relic can be venerated. His relic is carried by Abbott Paul Stonham. Pilgrims leaving Ss David Lewis and Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Usk, Monmouthshire, Wales 28th August 2022.
