SAINT WALSTANS DAY BAWBURGH NORFOLK UK

St Walstans Day, Bawburgh, St Mary and Saint Walstan’s Church Norfolk 2018. Church members gather for Sunday church service and then process to the Holy healing well not far away.  <br />

Bishop Tony Foottit says a few words and then presents long standing Church Warden Stan ?? with gifts from the congregation for services to the church community.<br />

St Walstan dedicated his life to farming and the care of farm animals, he is the patron saint of saint of farm workers, farmers and farm animals. He died 30 May 1016, while at work in a meadow.
