Salts Mill. Saltaire near Shipley Bradford West Yorkshire England 1981. World Heritage Site Salts Mill named after  Sir Titus Salt was closed down in 1986  after 133 years as a textile factory. Salts Mill the centre of the  model industrial village built on the huge profits made out of  alpaca fibre in the nineteenth century, it has been named a  World Heritage Site by Unesco.
