SHIRLEY WILLIAMS CROSBY BY ELECTION 1981 SDP FIRST ELECTED MP

Shirley Williams and her supporters celebrate at the  Crosby by election Liverpool. She was the first elected SDP Member of Parliament and a founder member of the SDP called at the time "The Gang of Four", as they had all left the Labour Party to form the SDP.
