SOTHEBYS AT MENTMORE COUNTRY HOUSE AUCTION 1977

Sothebys country house auction at Mentmore Towers, Buckinghamshire, England circa May 1977. The bronze statue of the horse is King Tom, race winning stallion of 1871, that founded the de Rothschild stud at Mentmore Towers. The horse was not sold and is now at the family home Dalmeny House, Edinburgh, Scotland.
