THE ENGLISH SEASON at the NATIONAL THEATRE LONDON

Royal Ascot, Berkshire 1980s. At the end of the days racing through out the week, large crowds gather around the band stand and sing patriotic song, Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory etc. People link arms , dance and celebrate being British. The English Season published by Pavilion Books 1987. Gent in grey topper is Mr J Lawson-Brown.
