WASSAILING BODMIN CORNWALL

Bodmin, Cornwall, England 6th January 2016.Bodmin Wassailers Old New Years Day. The Bodmin Wassailers tour the town of Bodmin, sing wassailing song in pubs, shops and private homes. They are making a collection for charity. In 2016 the Wassailers raised £450 split between Bodmin Age Concern and Bodmin Hospital League of Friends.

The first recorded evidence of the Bodmin Wassailers is in the Will of the Town Clerk Nicholas Sprey who left in his Will dated 1624 16 shillings...
