Wroth Silver Ceremony Knightlow Hill Warwickshire. Tithes collected in the Wroth Stone by the Duke of Buccleuchs land agent. Crowds gather before dawn. Dukes land agent reads at first light the Charter of Assembly he calls out the name of each of the 25 Parishes and their representatives says "Wroth Silver" and then drops the due amount into the Wroth Stone. Total collected is 11.5 pence.Ceremony takes a few minutes.
