Great Musgrave annual Rushbearing village customs. On the first Saturday in July a procession of children makes its way from the village hall to St Theobald's Church, the boys carry rush crosses and the girls floral 'crowns'. At the church after a short service, crowns and rush crosses are placed on the alter. Everyone walks back to the village hall for a cream tea.
