The Commemoration of Sir John Cass. Red Feather Day service at St Botolph without Aldgate. A young pupil from the Sir John Cass Foundation school. The feather represents the quill pen steeped in blood, due to his untimely demise whilst signing his Will. The Will was contested but the Foundation won and has continued for evermore.
