Dennis Andrew enacts The Horned God, sometimes known as Cernunnos or the Lord of the Forest, within a circle formed by members of the Grove. The two Yew trees are at the ancient entrance to the original 12th and later 14th century church. An avenue of Yews leads down to the now lost village of Knowlton.
