In her ‘Mrs Mop’ charwoman style headscarf , made popular during World War II, a local resident tries to bag a bargain  in the second hand clothes jumble sale, sponsored by the Dulwich Conservative Party to raise funds. Prime Minister Mrs Margaret Thatcher had recently bought a Barrett  home on a local estate, it was a  mock-Georgian five-bedroom house and the local Conservative Party were cock-a-hoop.
