Notting Hill, London 1976. The Notting Hill Carnival started as a low key local Caribbean community event. By 1976 as many as 150,000 people were attending. Violence erupted and running skirmishes developed that led to a full scale riot. Bricks and bottles were thrown, by both black and white youths. A young Black British teenage girls has been  hit in the face by a missile thrown by rioting youths, she is carried away to safety by  police officers 1970s UK.
